Between the Kitzbühel alps and the Loferer Steinberge Mountains there is a paradise for pleasure hikers and families, but also for experienced alpinists. Everyone will find the right route on more than 400 km of perfectly marked trails on a hiking holiday in Fieberbrunn, and of course some traditional mountain huts for refreshment.
If you like, you can take the summer lifts to the airy heights. Either to take further hikes from there or just to enjoy the wonderful view. Saalbach offers some lovely hiking routes for explorers and families too.
Recommended heights lead up to the 30-meter high and accessible Jakobskreuz on the Buchensteinwand mountain – a multi-storey building in the shape of a cross, the Wildseeloder or into the Loferer Steinberge Mountains.
